
Safety Net
Anthea’s short film Safety Net premiered as part of the Sydney Film Festival offical selection, was short listed for the Best Short Award at the Whanau Marama - The New Zealand International Film Festival, and had it’s North American premiere at Slamdance.
With the support of Screen NSW Anthea is currently developing the feature version of Safety Net with writer Julian Larnach. This is a film she will direct.

Pony
Anthea directed Pony by Eloise Snape for Sydney’s Griffin Theatre. In 2024 Drama Queen picked up this theatre show for development as a television series with Anthea and Eloise as co-creators.
Screen New South Wales are supporting this series though their pathways program
Anthea was one of the inaugural women awarded through the Create NSW #SheDirects initiative. With co-writer Nakkiah Lui she was funded to develop a new six-part series.
Anthea was funded by Screen Australia’ Talent + program to work in development at Causeway Films (The Babadook, The Nightingale).
